A vibrant collage that juxtaposes the intricate costumes depicted in the Ramayana mural at Wat Phra Kaew with the meticulous craftsmanship of traditional Khon embroidery. By layering images of these costumes, We aim to highlight the cultural significance of each garment, capturing the stories and characters they represent within the epic tale.
Incorporating hand embroidery using both traditional Khon techniques and modern methods, this piece becomes a dialogue between past and present. The embroidery acts as a bridge, intertwining historical artistry with contemporary expression, emphasizing the ongoing evolution of cultural identity.
