Interwoven Journeys explores the idea of travel as both a physical and emotional experience—moving through diverse landscapes while remaining connected to personal memory and identity.
The artwork is composed of multiple linear elements formed through ombré thread wrapping on cable sheathing, with gradual shifts in tone and texture. Each line represents an individual journey, fragment, or moment, while their collective presence forms a larger composition that speaks to connection, overlap, and shared movement.
Industrial materials such as electric wires and a fiberglass structure are combined with soft, hand-worked textile surfaces, creating a dialogue between the engineered and the human, the rigid and the fluid. The open structure allows light, shadow, and spatial gaps to become integral parts of the work, giving it a sense of air and motion rather than a fixed, enclosed form.
Installed within its architectural context, the artwork invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences of travel, transition, and connection—bridging personal narratives with a shared collective journey.
